FAQ
Why would someone use a franchise consultant?
A experienced professional franchise consultant can offer candidates a wealth of information about the franchise industry as well as introducing you to brands that fit what you are looking for. I help save my clients time by assisting with much of the initial legwork required in identifying opportunities that meet your criteria and are available in your desired market.
Do you charge any up-front fees to your clients?
No. You never pay me a fee for any of my guidance, education and research.
Why are your services free?
The brands I represent pay me a fee to find qualified candidates like yourself. Much like a realtor who is selling someone’s home.
Which franchises does Scott Milas represent?
I am currently working with some of today’s well-known and top emerging brands that represent many different categories and industries. The brands in my portfolio have strong validation and in most cases are supported by an Item 19.
Are there aggressive sales tactics used in this process?
NO! Franchises are not sold – they are awarded. Only when both parties feel there is strong potential for success does anyone begin to consider investing in the franchise. “Offering” a franchise to a less than ideal candidate is generally a recipe for failure for both franchisee and franchisor. Aggressive sales techniques is not how winning franchisors are built. You need to date before you decide to get married!
Are there any obligations if I don’t find what I am looking for?
No. If you at any time feel that the services that I am offering are not meeting your expectations you can walk away with no financial obligations for the work I have already completed.
Do you have a list of brands you can email me?
NO. Over the years I have learned that is not the best approach to exploring, researching and educating yourself to what franchise may be best for you. In the end, owning a franchise may not be the ideal or right direction for you and your family.
